About Baumann Gartenbau

The family-run company Baumann Gartenbau has been producing Ericas, Callunas and bedding and balcony plants for nearly 90 years. The business was founded in 1934 for the cultivation of vegetables and cut flowers, and today Jürgen and Uwe Baumann are running the company in its 3rd generation. At three locations in Kevelaer-Vorst, Kevelaer-Schravelen, and Weeze-Kalbeck, several million plants are cultivated annually for customers all over Europe on a total of 25 hectares of open land

and 2.6 hectares of greenhouse space. Modern production technology supports the cultivation. By using beneficial insects, depot fertilizers, and peat substitute materials, resource-conserving, sustainable production is practiced. Photovoltaic systems on all hall roofs supply the operations with electricity.

Baumann Gartenbau finds itself in the midst of an exciting time of technologization and automation. The ongoing digitization enables the operation to continuously optimize its production processes and thus work even more efficiently. The company has a fully automated planting line, a planting robot, two Bigspezial forklifts, and a Degramec placing robot, which ensures the quality of the products and simultaneously conserves important resources. The innovative irrigation system in the greenhouse, the ErfGoed Ebb and Flood System, is also precisely designed for this:

It is used on 1.8 hectares of the greenhouse areas and recycles the water 100% - a sustainable investment in the future and a sign of the company's environmentally conscious attitude. The prizes drawn will be listed in the respective contest description. Cash payout or exchange of the prizes are excluded. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties (unless otherwise agreed in the contest). Participation in the prize draw is open to those who answer the contest question(s) correctly or fulfill the contest conditions.

Each participant can only participate once per contest. Multiple comments will be counted as a single entry. Comments that violate Instagram guidelines, German law and/or copyright will be removed without notice upon knowledge. The participant is thereby excluded from winning. The winner must contact info@gardengirls.de via email or send a private message to the Gardengirls Instagram page with their address details within 5 business days. If the winner does not contact within this period, the prize will be redrawn among all participants. All Instagram names of the participants will be recorded and stored for determining the winner.

All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the contest. Address details will only be collected from the winners and used for shipping the prize.
